Print A4 portrait, 100% scale, color. Pages 1–4 are teaching aids and cut-outs. Pages 5–7 are worksheets and colorblind-friendly charts. Pages 8–12 are song charts. Pages 13–14 are composing and staff sheets. Pages 15–16 are the progress chart and certificate.
Every color has a key, a letter, and a shape.
Say it three ways: “red circle C.” Color + shape + letter. That way every child can read the chart.
Put one sticker on the front edge of each labeled white key.
Right hand: thumb (1) on red C, pinky (5) on blue G. Left hand: pinky (5) on red C, thumb (1) on blue G.
Find the group of two black keys. Red C is just to the left of it. Find the group of three black keys. That is the other landmark. Trace the groups with a finger, then find C again.
Cut on the dashed lines. Use for echo games, color hunts, and composing.
Right hand: 1 is the thumb, 5 is the pinky. Left hand mirrors it.
Right thumb on red C. Each finger gets the next door key: 1 C, 2 D, 3 E, 4 F, 5 G. Keep a bubble under the palm.
Trace each key, then color it to match the rainbow.
Tap each circle and say “1, 2, 3, 4.” Keep the speed the same.
Same melodies, no color. Use when color is not available.
Then play the whole song from the color chart on page 10.
Colorblind-friendly. Match the shape, not the color.
Say the colors in rhythm first: “yellow orange red, rest…”
The leap to blue G is the only skip. Practise “E G G” three times alone.
Draw the wave in the air: up, up, down, down. Play the second line softer.
Two-hand version: hold a red C in the left hand through the whole chorus.
Color eight boxes, then play your song. Use any colors you like.
☐ happy ☐ sleepy ☐ silly ☐ spooky ☐ like rain
The notehead sits on a line or in a space. Its color still tells you the key.
Line notes: E G B D F. Space notes: F A C E. For now, follow the color and the letter.
Color the empty noteheads the right color, then play C D E F G A.
One sticker or star for every lesson.
